Unfortunately, some of our neighbors go hungry almost every day. Through our HUMMER Fights Hunger inititive, we are raising awareness and support for the Food Bank for New York City (www.foodbanknyc.org) and the Food Bank of Lower Fairfield County (http://www.foodbanklfc.org/). At our recent Hummer Happening in Englishtown, NJ, Hummer owners contributed over 3,000 lbs. of canned, non-perishable food to this effort - thank you! If you were not able to attend this event, please consider bringing a donation of canned and/or non-perishable food to our showroom on your next visit - we will continue to support HUMMER Fighting Hunger by collecting these items and adding our own dealership support. Unfortunately the need for daily nourishment never ends - these needs are real and we are proud to provide some support.
Thanks to all of our HUMMER owners for their food donations - our showroom has been filling up - and soon so will the storage closets of our local food bank - and ultimately the cabinets of some of our neighbors in need of a nourishing meal. Please keep the contributions coming! Drop off at our HUMMER Showroom, located at 245 Elm Street in New Canaan, CT.
SPECIAL NOTE: While supplies last, we will provide a FREE “HUMMER Fighting Hunger” t-shirt to anyone who brings in a donation of canned, non-perishable food to our New Canaan HUMMER Showroom. Let’s help those in need in our surrounding communities in Connecticut and New York. With the resources of both the Fairfield County Food Bank and the New York City Food Bank, we reach those folks with the most need.
Please HELP today! And remember to ask for your FREE t-shirt - its just our way of saying thanks at this crucial time of year.
On Friday, April 25th, HUMMER by KARL will be hosting a select group of Hummer Owners at an NFL Draft Preview Reception at the ESPN Zone at Times Square in New York City.
