KARL CHEVROLET HUMMER CONTRIBUTES $3,750 FOR AREA SCHOLARSHIPS
$75,500 Contributed for Area Scholarships Since Program Launched Two Decades Ago

NEW CANAAN,  CT  (May 22,  2008)  –  Graduating students from Lower Fairfield County High Schools will receive a total of $3,750 in scholarship assistance from KARL Chevrolet HUMMER this spring; recipients will be selected by the schools.

Since the New Canaan Dealership began running its April high school scholarship promotion twenty-three years ago it has raised $75,500 for area scholarship programs, according to Leo Karl III, KARL Chevrolet HUMMER’s President.

“As a leading business in the area, we feel it’s important to be actively involved in the communities that support us. The Scholarship Drive has become a signature event for us, and we’re delighted that we are able to make a significant contribution to help area students again this year,” Mr. Karl commented.  “With tuition increases continuing to outpace the rate of inflation, we know that every dollar makes a difference to students who need assistance.
